As a Senior Design Leader within the Trips division at Booking.com, I lead a 25+ person design organization distributed across the Netherlands, the United Kigdom, and India.


I’m responsible for shaping the user experience across several core areas of the travel journey, including Trip Planning, Cross-Sell (Trips Foundation), Insurance, Flights, Multi-Product (Packages), and Attractions , driving strategic design that connects and elevates every step of the traveler’s experience.

Shaping the Future of Flights, Attractions, and Insurance in the Connected Trip Journey

As Head of Design for Attractions, Flights, and Insurance at Booking.com, I lead a multidisciplinary team of over 25 designers, managers, and design leaders within the Trip Division. Together, we’re responsible for shaping the end-to-end travel experience creating seamless, intuitive journeys across complex products that support millions of users worldwide.


My role is centered on connecting multiple touchpoints into a cohesive, human-centered ecosystem, from planning and booking to fulfillment and support. I’m passionate about turning fragmented experiences into unified, thoughtful moments that feel effortless, accessible, and genuinely useful for every traveler.

Designing at scale in a global environment means constantly balancing business goals, platform complexity, and diverse user needs. It’s in that challenge where I find the most purpose, building teams and systems that push boundaries while keeping the human at the center of every decision.


In close collaboration with VPs, Senior Directors, Directors, and key stakeholders across product, business, data, research, and engineering, I spearhead design strategies that align with business goals while delivering user-centered outcomes. 


By fostering cross-functional partnerships, I help Booking.com push the boundaries of digital travel experiences, aiming to make every trip not only easier but more personalized and connected.
